When Horses Fly
School By The River Press, Southwest School of Art | 2014This handmade, letterpress-printed chapbook was produced by School by the River Press as a prize for winning the Gemini Ink Award of Literary Excellence.
The story, “When Horses Fly,” shows how people who have been together a long time develop a unique and sometimes fragile way of sustaining the relationship, one they have intuitively created and now manage, each playing his/her part to keep their private world balanced.
The story won the Fiction Award at the Conference of College Teachers of English and was published in CCTE Studies.
